Set up cronjobs and healthchecks
- CLARIN DSpace has a lot of built-in healthchecks that - per documentation - should be configured to run periodically
- A lot (all?) of these can be found in the 'Control Panel' under 'Programs' and under 'Checks'. Most (all?) of these seem to call some dspace command line program under the hood.
We need to investigate:
-
which of these checks we want to run -
how often and - [-> #59 (closed)] see if we can set them up in such a way that we will automatically get notified if things go bad.
For a proper k8s integration, we need to
-
check whether the cronjobs can run (in a separate pod) simultaneously(!) with the main pod
or for a different approach, we need to:
-
check whether and how supervisord + tomact + cronjob within one pod could work
